Welder - Fabricator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components based on blueprints, drawings, and specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret technical documents, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project specifications.

Cut, shape, and weld metal components

Operate fabrication machinery including (shears, press brakes).

Perform layout, fitting, and tacking of metal parts prior to welding.

Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure structural soundness and adherence to specifications.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Troubleshoot and repair welds and fabrication defects as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a shop or field setting.

Proficiency in welding processes .

Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements and tolerances.

Familiarity with metal types (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).

Basic math and measurement skills.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.
